The big brother and the apprentice
Meet Pops & Dobbs
One of them talks like it’s opening night. The other has never said a word. Somehow they make a perfect team.
On the left, as always
Pops
Pops is an older gray-brown tabby and a wizard of tremendous confidence. He walks on two legs, works his wand with real hands, and treats every spell like a grand performance. Sometimes it goes beautifully. Often it goes sideways.
Underneath the theatrics, he is a protector. When the magic gets out of hand, his first thought is always the same: Dobbs is safe.
Overconfident. Dramatic. Lovable. Slightly bumbling, in the best way.
On the right, always watching
Dobbs
Dobbs is a small black kitten, a ghost tabby whose stripes hide so well that she reads as solid black. She walks on four ordinary cat paws, and she never says a word.
She doesn’t need to. A tilted head, a flick of the tail, one calm paw on the right thing at the right time. Dobbs notices what Pops misses, and quietly sets it right.
Silent. Clever. Observant. The calm in the middle of the chaos.
How they work together
Big brother, curious apprentice.
Pops makes the magic.
Every spell starts with a flourish and a very good idea. The results are, let’s say, lively.
Dobbs steadies it.
She watches, she learns, and she quietly brings things back to calm.
Together, they keep going.
Big brother and apprentice, a little chaos and a lot of care, on a long road toward the Crystal Bell of Time.
How every episode goes.
Each one is short, vertical and cozy, and each one follows the same warm little shape.
One
A hook that makes you lean in.
Two
Magic that gets bigger.
